Gene Lemmon worked very hard to critically evaluate all the conflicting information at his disposal to make well founded judgments about the genealogical record about Lemmon family ancestors. He often had multiple sources for any conclusion he would reach and he documented them in detail. He wanted other genealogists to benefit from his work and he decided to self-publish his work. His family concluded that in the age of the internet it was important to provide the information in a readily downloadable from that could be searched with standard software. Hence, the creation of this Web Site.
